Feeding the Koi!

So I talked to my neighbor (whose husband was also gone all week) and we decided on a playdate. Moanaloa Gardens in Honolulu. I had heard they had a large koi pond, and my neighbor wanted to see it too, so we made a playdate, LOL.

I went the day before and bought some koi food at Wally's, and WOW is it $$!! I think I got like 5oz for nearly $7! Can you believe that? Pellets? I bought the smallest package and swore to call my sister in Fla (who works at a pet store). I forgot to pack my lunch, but luckily my neighbor overpacked so it worked out! I shared koi food and she shared people food.
