Love the turtles!! How cool. I've never really wanted to go to HI but this might make me!
For layouts its EASY as pie! Under Customize, click on LAYOUT. First, go to Pick a New Template. Make sure you have Minima selected (its the first one!). Then go to Page Elements. Add a Gadget that is titled HTML/JAVA SCRIPT (I have it on the right AND at the bottom. Don't know if you need it both places but I do!). Find a layout. There are a couple of sights but the one on my page and The Cutest Blog on the Block are my favorites. Copy their code. Then open the HTML/Java script button and another screen will pop up. Paste the code and click SAVE. Then to make the words match the background, click on fonts and colors. The top half will be colors and a list of all the places you can customize your colors. Click on each thing (Like blog background, title color, etc) and select the color. On the bottom half, you can see the changes you're making. Click save when you're done....VOILA...new page.
Aloha, I'm the keeper of the blog! I've been a "Navy wife" for over 16 yrs now. We've had the chance to live in some pretty sweet places, including Italy, Florida and the coast of Maine. We currently live in Hawaii and are enjoying as much of it as we can. We have 2 small people, called Princess (10) and Little Man (8) and a cute bonus 2 yr old. :) You'll see them throughout my blog!
