In the spring when Hunny was deployed, I heard about a program where professional photographers volunteered their time and talent to take pictures of homecomings celebrations. http://www.oplove.org/ I contacted a few photogs and this is the photographer who agreed to shoot our homecoming. http://www.cassandradieterlephotography.com/

It was a husband and wife team and they came out on homecoming day and took some pictures for us. Hunny had duty and couldn't leave the ship initially with the rest of the sailors, so we had the photographers come out a little later to take pics once he was allowed to come down. I also wanted to add, that what an awesome gift this was. This (homecoming) is such a meaningful day to military families. It is the day the family is finally reunited, the day your heart heals, the day your children finally stop crying for their daddy. It's a BIG day. And to have Cassandra and her husband come out and shoot our pictures really means so much to us. THANK YOU!
