**work in progress**Maui, Part 3, the Road to Hana!

Sunday morning we slept in and couldn't decide what to do. Hang out in Lahaina? Go to the pool? Find a beach? I kept bugging Hunny about doing the road to Hana. He wasn't overly convinced...I had to whip out the Maui Revealed book and show him some of the things to see (because he was like "why do we want to go to Hana?") We got a late start and got on the Hana Hwy about 11am (which is way late according to the tour books) but first we stopped in Pa'ia for some sandwiches to take with us. Pa'ia was a super cute historic town and I wish we had more time but we had to hit the road.

First stop were some falls that the book calls "4 Falls of Na'ili'ili-Haele" and was listed in their "adventure" section for a reason LOL!!!! It was thru a bamboo forest, across a stream (twice!) and then over the rocks to the falls. It was a blast and the kids loved seeing the falls. Hunny climbed up the rock wall to see the other falls while the kids and I just hung out, listening to the water.

As we drove down the road, we oohhh and ahhhhed at the beautiful scenery. Not something that a photograph can convey.
